When cleaning and disinfecting, KidsHive Preschool follows the following routine:

∙Did you know that cleaning with soap and water reduces the number of germs, dirt and impurities on the surface while disinfecting kills germs on surfaces? That is why we use soap and water first and then a disinfectant.

∙When cleaning and disinfecting, we make sure to always wear disposable gloves for all tasks in the cleaning process, including handling trash.

∙We also practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces. High traffic surfaces include: handrails, tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc

∙We subcontract a professional third party provider that cleans and disinfects the school every evening including the playground area.

Cleaning and Sanitizing Toys and Supplies:

∙Toys are also cleaned with soapy water first and then we sanitize them. Children usually place toys in their mouths, that is why we always clean and disinfect toys. ∙He also disinfect supplies after using them, to prevent the spreading of germs. ∙After each toy and supply is used, we make sure to separate that item until it is disinfected for the use of another child or to place it back in the classroom.

2. Parents, caregivers, and children will have their body temperature taken using an infrared non-contact thermometer (reading not to exceed 100.0 F) and will be asked traveling and destination questions per CDC indications.

3. Upon arrival, all our little bees will have their shoes and personal belongings sanitized, like backpacks and lunch boxes before setting them in their respective place.

4. After disinfecting their shoes, our children will be taken directly to their corresponding restrooms to have their hands properly washed. And the procedure on how to properly wash your hands will be reinforced every morning to every student during this part of the protocol.
